PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that sealed proposals will be received by the Village Clerk of the Village of Montebello, One Montebello Road, Montebello, New York 10901 on or before 12:00 noon on October 20, 2026, for the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, and conveyances required for the satisfactory performance of:

GARBAGE, TRASH, AND RECYCLABLES PICKUP, CARTING AND DISPOSAL SERVICES

for the Village of Montebello for a period of three (3) years, beginning on or about April 1, 2027, with an option to add two (2) more years to the term, thus making a five-year term.

The proposals will be opened and read aloud by the Village Clerk of the Village of Montebello, at Village Hall, One Montebello Road, Montebello, New York on October 20, 2026, at 12:00 noon local time.

Copies of the specifications may be obtained at the Village Hall, One Montebello Road, Montebello, New York between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, weekdays, Monday through Friday.

The proposal of each bidder shall contain the certification as to non-collusive bidding as set forth in Section 103-d of the General Municipal Law included in the specifications, as well as the submission of all questionnaires and documents set forth in said specification.

Each bidder is required to submit, together with its bid documents, proof by a letter from a bank located in Rockland County of the ability to supply security in the form of a cash deposit or letter from an acceptable surety assuring issuance of a full performance and payment bond all as more particularly set forth in the specifications.

The Village of Montebello reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive minor irregularities, and to accept any proposal as submitted, or as modified, which in the opinion of the Board of Trustees will be in the best interest of the Village.

BID GUARANTY

The bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the amount of $15,000.00 in the form of a certified check or bank cashier’s check drawn to the order of the Village of Montebello.
