NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Please take notice that a Public Hearing will be held by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Montebello on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, at the Village of Montebello, Senior Center, 1 Montebello Road, Montebello, New York 10901, for the purpose of considering and adopting a Budget for the period of January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026 and, in conjunction therewith, if necessary, to consider Local Law No. 2 of 2025 which would allow the Village of Montebello to adopt a budget for said calendar year commencing January 1, 2026, that requires a real property tax levy in excess of the “tax levy limit” as defined by General Municipal Law §3-c.; and
The proposed salaries of the Village Board members are as follows:
- Mayor $44,625.00
- Deputy Mayor $12,075.00
- Trustees (3) $6,825.00
All members of the public and all interested parties are invited to attend and participate. The proposed Local Law and the proposed Budget will be available for inspection and review at the Village Office during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
